A project and an inner conviction emerged when a professor of criminal law engaged by Fredrik Fasting Torgersen was convicted of defamation. The professor had signed a contract with the convicted murderer and was to receive a percentage of the compensation if they managed to overturn the verdict.
Every time collective memory dedicated to one perspective run rampant for years, because bad actors take on corrective roles in society no one has assigned them, all that remains is corruption and banal evil. The Criminal Procedure Act from 2004 does Norway a huge disservice. I am working on ideas and issues generated by the complaint culture we institutionalized. Hope is to highlight the problems and help those who wants this to end.
